Basketball Recap: Eastern Triumphs

Eastern lost to Delphi Community back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Eastern Comets came out on top against the Delphi Community Oracles by a score of 53-43.

Despite the loss, Delphi Community still got an impressive performance from Josh Hartley, who went 6 for 9 en route to 14 points and three steals. Hartley has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Weston Brown was another key player, putting up four points.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Delphi Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Eastern has already played their next contest, a 44-24 loss against Eastbrook on the 18th. As for Delphi Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-36 win against North Newton on the 18th.
