Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chicago Christian). In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 72-71 win over the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 62-48 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The win got Chicago Christian back to even at 12-12. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.

Looking ahead, Chicago Christian will take on Carver at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Chicago Christian is facing Carver at the right time seeing as Carver is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they will face off against Marist at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Marist will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Blue Island Eisenhower surely won't give up without a fight.
