Mt. Hebron waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with an 80-68 victory over Marriotts Ridge. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-53 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Marriotts Ridge still got an impressive performance from Restia Whitaker, who went 10-for-20 on his way to 28 points. The contest was Whitaker's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Rahul Jampan was another key player, putting up 11 points and five steals.

Mt. Hebron pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points over those games. As for Marriotts Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Hebron will welcome Westminster at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marriotts Ridge, they will take on Guilford Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
