Football Game Recap: Sibley-Ocheyedan vs. Okoboji

The last time they met ? Sibley-Ocheyedan was the 26-25 winner over Okoboji. This time around? They had no such luck. It was close but no cigar for Sibley-Ocheyedan as they fell 14-16 to Okoboji on Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

The loss dropped Sibley-Ocheyedan's record to 0-2. The win got Okoboji back to even at 1-1.

Sibley-Ocheyedan will look to defend their home turf next week against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn at 7:00 PM. Okoboji hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next game against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union in two weeks. Okoboji continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game.
