Volleyball Recap: Seneca Bobcats vs. Greer Yellow Jackets
Seneca lost against Greer back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 3-2. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Seneca took Greer into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 16-25, 21-25, 15-5.
Leading Greer to victory were Adison Howard and Ivey Tapp. Howard had 28 digs, while Tapp had 23 assists and 13 digs. Those 28 digs gave Howard a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacey Foster, who had 17 digs.
Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Greer, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7.
