Volleyball Recap: The Burlington School Takes a Loss

The Burlington School lost against Caldwell Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-18.

Caldwell Academy found their leader in sophomore Kate Belanger, who had eight aces, six kills, and one block. Belanger is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served seven or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The Burlington School now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Caldwell Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

The Burlington School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against River Mill on the 22nd. As for Caldwell Academy, they will take on High Point Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
