Baseball Game Preview: Randolph Ghosts vs. U-32 Raiders

Randolph hasn't had much luck against U-32 recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Ghosts will look to defend their home field against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Neither Randolph nor U-32 posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Randolph made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Peoples Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Ghosts fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The contest marked the Ghosts' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Randolph saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Delaney, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Mariner Gershen also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, U-32 came up short against North Country Union on Saturday, falling 7-1. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for U-32, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
