Softball Recap: Dorman Takes a Loss

Dorman's last matchup with Belton-Honea Path could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Cavaliers lost 11-0 to the Bears. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Cavaliers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dorman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Bishop, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Dorman's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8-1. As for Belton-Honea Path, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Dorman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will square off against Clover at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
