Barrington waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Schaumburg Saxons with a sharp 47-27 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-27 on January 7th.

Barrington's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-12. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Schaumburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barrington and Evanston will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Schaumburg, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Resurrection at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
