It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Trinity Collegiate ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Northwood Academy Chargers 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won four in a row.

The win got Trinity Collegiate back to even at 1-1. As for Northwood Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11-1.

Trinity Collegiate will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cheraw at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Northwood Academy, they will head out to take on Porter-Gaud at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers are facing the Cyclones at the right time seeing as the Cyclones are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
