Soccer Recap: East Surry Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Wilkes last Tuesday, East Surry came back down to earth. The Cardinals came up short against the Wilkes Central Eagles on Monday, falling 4-0. East Surry haven't had much luck with Wilkes Central recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

East Surry's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Wilkes Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Surry is set to take on their familiar foe North Surry at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wilkes Central will challenge rival Surry Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
