Basketball Recap: McNairy Central Takes a Loss

McNairy Central lost against Jackson Christian back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McNairy Central Bobcats took a 46-30 bruising from the Jackson Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Eagles are ranked 25th).

McNairy Central dropped their record down to 4-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Jackson Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the McNairy Central Bobcats face off against the Middleton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Gibson on December 27th.
