Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Aberdeen posted their closest win since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bel Air Bobcats 49-46. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Aberdeen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dominic Hyer, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Collin Rogers was another key player, going 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Aberdeen's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Bel Air, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Aberdeen will be playing in front of their home fans against Fallston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bel Air, they will venture away from home to square off against North Harford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
