Basketball Recap: Chad Rostvet's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Heartland Lutheran over Blue Hill

Heartland Lutheran lost against Blue Hill back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets received a blow as they fell 56-39 to the Blue Hill Bobcats. The Red Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heartland Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chad Rostvet, who posted 13 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Olson, who scored ten points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Heartland Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Blue Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Coming up, Heartland Lutheran will square off against Kenesaw at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenesaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5 points per game this season. Blue Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
