Football Recap: Rylen Dutka's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Steinbrenner over Alonso + How To Watch

Steinbrenner extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They came up short against the Alonso Ravens, falling 31-10. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Ravens from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylen Dutka, who threw for 168 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 39 yards. 86 of Dutka's passing yards were hauled in by Chance Robertson.

As for Alonso, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.8 points this season.

Leading Alonso to victory were Will Mirabella and Michael Pyne. Mirabella rushed for 180 yards and one score, while Pyne threw for 201 yards and one touchdown on only 19 passes. Mirabella is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 119 every time he's taken the field this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Steinbrenner will take on Largo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alonso, they will head out to take on Newsome at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Ravens will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.43 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
