Basketball Game Preview: Canby Cougars vs. Wilsonville Wildcats

Canby has won five straight games at home, while Wilsonville has won five straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Canby knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Wilsonville likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Canby didn't have too much trouble with Putnam as they won 73-56.

Meanwhile, Wilsonville was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts 87-51. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

Wilsonville is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.4 points. Canby's win bumped their record up to 13-8.
