Moberly's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mexico Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. Moberly might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Avery St. Clair and Ella Mathes scored all three of Moberly's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Moberly's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four games. As for Mexico, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Moberly will take on Crocker in a tournament on Friday. As for Mexico, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Warrenton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
