Basketball Recap: Caisen Lee's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Munday over Water Valley

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Munday couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Water Valley Wildcats. The Moguls were up 16-2 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Munday's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caisen Lee, who to rack up 13 points. Lee is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Haiden Bowman was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 28-6. As for Water Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Munday nor Water Valley have any future games scheduled.
