Volleyball Game Preview: Estancia Eagles vs. Santiago Cavaliers

The Estancia Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Santiago Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Estancia came up short against La Quinta and fell 3-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Santiago and Bolsa Grande, and Bolsa Grande kept the tradition alive. The Cavaliers fell 3-1 to the Matadors on Tuesday.

Estancia's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Santiago, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Estancia took their win against Santiago when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
