Baseball Game Preview: Chaparral Lobos vs. Deming Wildcats

For the second straight game, Chaparral will face off against Deming. The Lobos will face off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaparral is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Chaparral and Deming had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lobos lost 10-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The contest marked the Lobos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For Deming's part, Max Allison made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those eight strikeouts gave Allison a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
