Football Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 48 points the game before, Franklin was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the Roosevelt Roughriders 50-7. The Quakers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Silas Combs threw for 95 yards on nine of 23 attempts. Evan Roseborough was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards. On the ground, Cooper Haug rushed for 52 yards and one score.

Franklin's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Roosevelt, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.
