Softball Recap: Cleburne County Comes Up Short

Cleburne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Cherokee County Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 back in March.

Cleburne County's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Cherokee County, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Cleburne County will square off against Winterboro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherokee County, they will venture away from home to face off against Sylvania at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
