Damian Padilla posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 17 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
