Ridge Point entered their tilt with Needville on Monday with 19 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 20. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bluejays. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Bluejays walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2017.

The victory didn't come easy: Needville scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 29-27, 14-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Jayden Robinson paced Ridge Point's offense, picking up 26 kills. Robinson got some help from Madelyn Johnson and her 39 assists. Robinson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Piper Marquart, each putting up two.

When it comes to explaining why Needville lost, don't look at Mckenzi Griffin. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs.

Ridge Point's win bumped their record up to 31-13. As for Needville, with the defeat, they broke their 18-match winning streak and moved their record to 39-5.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Ridge Point will challenge Pearland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Needville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
