Volleyball Recap: Patterson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oakdale last Wednesday, Patterson came back down to earth. The Patterson Tigers fell just short of the Sierra Timberwolves by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Patterson took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 24-26, 25-11, 15-9.

Patterson's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Sierra, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patterson will welcome Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sierra, they will take on Mountain House at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
