Softball Recap: Arabia Mountain Drops Highest Score of Season Against Therrell

Arabia Mountain came into this matchup off a tough 13-run defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Therrell Panthers by a score of 28-26 on Wednesday. On the bright side, the 26- run effort marked the Rams' highest-scoring contest to date.

Arabia Mountain got a massive performance out of McKenzie Starks, who went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Starks also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Samiyah Zellars was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one triple.

Arabia Mountain's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Therrell, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Arabia Mountain didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 defeat against Woodward Academy on the 2nd. As for Therrell, they will head out to face off against North Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
