Volleyball Recap: Fitchburg Comes Up Short

Fitchburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Middlesex Regional Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Fitchburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for North Middlesex Regional, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Fitchburg is taking a road trip to challenge Shepherd Hill Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Middlesex Regional, they will challenge Groton-Dunstable at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
