Football Game Preview: Petrides vs. Thomas Jefferson Campus Orange Wave

Petrides will face off against the Thomas Jefferson Campus Orange Wave at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Petrides is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Petrides is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing A-Tech: they outscored them in every quarter. Petrides was the clear victor by a 28-6 margin over A-Tech on Saturday. Considering Petrides has won seven games by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Petrides to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Lee, who threw for 124 yards and two TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Aiden Gonzalez was in the mix as well, providing Petrides with two scores.

Petrides didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michael Giordano and Elias Hardt.

Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson Campus suffered their biggest defeat since October 13, 2024 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of Grady. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Orange Wave were not able to get on the board.

Thomas Jefferson Campus' loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Petrides, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Petrides strolled past Thomas Jefferson Campus in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 21-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Petrides since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
