Soccer Game Preview: Richfield vs. Enterprise

The Richfield Wildcats will square off against the Enterprise Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Richfield is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Canyon View just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Enterprise kept a clean sheet against Gunnison Valley on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs 4-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Enterprise's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Gunnison Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josh DeJesus, Dylan Liebetrau, Juan Valdez, and Crew Evans.

Enterprise pushed their record up to 3-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Richfield, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.
