The Bishop Watterson Eagles will face off against the Granville Blue Aces at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bishop Watterson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let South get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Anthony DeMassimo looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Michael Mulligan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ben Burleson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.
Bishop Watterson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .738. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Granville made sure to put some runs up on the board against St. Francis DeSales on Tuesday. The Blue Aces were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Stallions.
Wilson Wells made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Wells was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Theo Talbott was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Bishop Watterson's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Granville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 18-6 record this season.
