Baseball Recap: Sonora Takes a Loss

Sonora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 18-6 to the Ripon Christian Knights.

Sonora saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Holt, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Sonora's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Ripon Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-9.

While Sonora had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
