Baseball Recap: Watford City Takes a Loss

Watford City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-3 to Legacy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to Legacy from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Watford City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Leahy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Landon Ledahl, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

Watford City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Legacy, they pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Watford City will host Sidney at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legacy, they will face off against West Fargo at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
