Hamilton won the last time they faced Mountain View and Marlie Phillips did her part to make sure it happened again. The Huskies blew past the Toros 35-6 on Thursday thanks in part to Phillips, who threw for 287 yards and four TDs. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last 16 times she's played.

One reason for the win was Hamilton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kayden Kisler and Brooke Dove, who racked up seven sacks between them.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Mountain View, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will square off against Mountain Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Phillips and Amiaya Tice. As for Mountain View, they will face off against Higley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
