Volleyball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Council Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-9.

Ceder Saxton paced Cascade's offense, picking up two kills. Saxton got some help from Lauren Taylor and her three assists.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Council, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cascade is set to take on their familiar foe Salmon River at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Council will face off against rival Tri-Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
