Basketball Recap: Marion Picks Up 17th Straight Win at Home

Marion lost to Bear Lake back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Marion Eagles blew past the Bear Lake Lakers 56-34. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Bear Lake's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grady Harless, who posted 11 points and three steals. Tyler Hallead was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Marion's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Bear Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
