Baseball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

Rochester lost against Montesano back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 9-1 to the Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly eight runs.

Rochester's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8. As for Montesano, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rochester will challenge Rainier at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montesano, they will face off against Hoquiam at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
