Basketball Recap: Niagara-Wheatfield Comes Up Short

Niagara-Wheatfield was the 55-52 winner over Kenmore West when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons took a 58-39 bruising from the Kenmore West Blue Devils on Friday.

Niagara-Wheatfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kenmore West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Niagara-Wheatfield will venture away from home to take on Salamanca at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenmore West, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Lockport at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
