Softball Recap: Royal Knights vs. College Place Hawks
While Royal's victory against College Place wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Hawks on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won six in a row.

Jill Allred made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
