Basketball Game Preview: Lakeside Vikings vs. Chamblee Bulldogs

The Lakeside Vikings will take on the Chamblee Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Saturday, Lakeside was beaten by Woodward Academy 78-50.

Meanwhile, Chamblee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-7 loss at the hands of Tri-Cities. While losing is never fun, Chamblee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while Tri-Cities is ranked 38th).

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Chamblee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Everything came up roses for Lakeside against Chamblee in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 67-34 win. Will Lakeside repeat their success, or does Chamblee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
