Softball Recap: Lewisville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lewisville had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Braswell Bengals by a score of 8-3 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Farmers: when they faced off against the Bengals back in March, they had to take a 6-2 defeat.

Lewisville's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 4-15-1. As for Braswell, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lewisville is set to take on their familiar foe Flower Mound at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for the Farmers: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while the Jaguars have snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. Meanwhile, Braswell will challenge rival Marcus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
