Basketball Recap: Rivercrest's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Rivercrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-66 heartbreaker at the hands of the Osceola Seminoles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-55 last Thursday.

Rivercrest's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Osceola, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Rivercrest and Osceola should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Rivercrest (ranked 96th) will meet Walnut Ridge (ranked 244th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rivercrest is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Osceola will challenge Manila at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 98 places (49 vs. 147).
