Lovelady has gone 7-2 against Centerville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lovelady Lions duke it out with Centerville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Lovelady's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Centerville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Lovelady's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Oakwood with a sharp 14-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to Latexo.

Centerville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Holley Danner, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lovelady has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Everything went Lovelady's way against Centerville when the teams last played on March 5th, as Lovelady made off with an 18-0 win. Will Lovelady repeat their success, or does Centerville has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
