Basketball Recap: Burgin Piles Up the Points Against Frankfort

Burgin lost to Frankfort back in February of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Burgin Bulldogs took their contest with ease, bagging a 64-29 victory over the Frankfort Panthers. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Burgin and bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for Frankfort, they dropped their record down to 3-12-1 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sayre the next time they take the court. Burgin will head out to face Sayre at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Frankfort will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on February 5th.
