North Murray had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Dalton on Monday. North Murray got a great performance from Chanley Langham as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave Langham a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Kaitlyn Malone was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lily Beavers, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
