For the second straight game, Seneca will face off against Camden. The Bobcats will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seneca is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

Seneca fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Camden on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Seneca got a good showing from Luke McGuffin, who pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. McGuffin has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Seneca saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Cutshall, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

The victory (which was Camden's sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-11. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 24-5.
