Basketball Recap: Park Rapids Takes a Loss

Park Rapids was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the East Grand Forks Green Wave 82-50. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Green Wave are ranked 119th).

Park Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for East Grand Forks, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, Park Rapids will challenge Pelican Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Grand Forks, they will be playing at home against Thief River Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
