The win made it two in a row for Vernonia/Jewell and bumps their season record up to 7-19. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Nestucca, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11.

Coming up, Vernonia/Jewell will square off against Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nestucca, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-69 loss against Vernonia on the 11th.
