Volleyball Recap: Linton-Stockton Now 11-3 over Last 14 Games

There's no place like home for Linton-Stockton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Shakamak Lakers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Miners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-16, 25-21.

Linton-Stockton was led to victory by Taylor Warrick and Ella Norris. Warrick had 17 digs and two aces, while Norris had 11 digs and five aces. What's more, Warrick racked up six assists, the most she's had over her last eight matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Linton-Stockton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Linton-Stockton has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Shakamak, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 17-7.
