Basketball Recap: Wabasha-Kellogg Comes Up Short

Wabasha-Kellogg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-32 loss at the hands of the Dover-Eyota Eagles. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-20.

Despite the defeat, Wabasha-Kellogg saw an underclassman step up: freshman Annalise Wobbe posted six points along with ten rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Wobbe a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaina McCann, who had five points and eight boards.

Wabasha-Kellogg's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Dover-Eyota, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

As of now, neither Wabasha-Kellogg nor Dover-Eyota have any future games scheduled.
