Basketball Game Preview: California School for the Deaf Eagles vs. California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs

California School for the Deaf and California School for the Deaf-Riverside are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The California School for the Deaf Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. California School for the Deaf is looking for their season's first win.

California School for the Deaf came up into this matchup off a tough 42-point defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Contra Costa Christian by a score of 62-60 on Thursday. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, California School for the Deaf-Riverside's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Wednesday. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vista del Lago. The loss was the Cubs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, California School for the Deaf-Riverside fell to 3-1. As for California School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

California School for the Deaf came up short against California School for the Deaf-Riverside when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 48-40. Can California School for the Deaf avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
